HomeSchoolPiano is different than other piano methods because we focus on developing the entire musician.
Far too often students' musicianship suffers because they only learn to read music.
These students end up saying later in life that they are 'tone deaf' because their musical ear was never fully developed. Not at HomeSchoolPiano.
HomeSchoolPiano develops the ear, reading and compositional skills of each student equally which makes them a better pianist and a full musician in the long run.Progress is tracked for each student and they can easily see what they've done and need to do from the dashboard.
The program is divided into three levels with 6 units each and takes most students anywhere from 1-3 years to complete the entire program.
Pass the tests
Each unit ends with a short 10 minute quiz to ensure that you understand the concepts covered in that unit.
After passing the quiz, you will be rewarded with a certificate with your name on it that you can print and hang proudly.
The quizzes are not tricky, but you do need to know the information in order to pass. A passing grade is 70% and if you do not get a passing grade the first time, you can retake the quiz.
The quizzes are timed and are only 8-12 multiple choice questions each.
You can take each quiz (2) times.
